This route heads out of Oldbury passing the church where there are spectacular views of the Severn Estuary. It then takes you on quiet roads past Littleton, Elberton, through Aust before crossing the Severn Bridge. From here it heads past Chepstow through Itton, Devauden and Trelleck. After Trelleck the route goes through The Narth and then Penallt before crossing the Wye to Redbrook. Here you will take a right turn and cycle beside the Rivere Wye to Tintern the home of the famous Abbey. There will be a food stop in the grounds of the Anchor Inn next to the Abbey. After leaving the food stop the route returns to Severn Bridge passing Chepstow Race course before crossing the Severn Bridge and then retracing you steps back to Oldbury on Severn but taking a different route into Oldbury.
